Funes Competition

KCM

Final Book Video

Alex Ingram

I have been fortunate enough to spend time and work with Alex in previous classes over the past couple of years attending Cal State San Marcos, and I feel honored and amazed with the journey and process he went through to get to one of the top graduate schools for art. He has amazing photography skills and his networking skills and passion for art has allowed him to continue and further his education.

Ash Thorp

Ash Thorp has a very unique style of art that I have not ever seen before as a student. There are many layers and textures all mixed together that some how make sense with the theme of their piece and working with the many different mediums and formats, it is evident that Ash is an inspiration to many upcoming artists. Referring back to a lot of Pop culture items and the use of bright colors is great and appealing, so many audiences today can relate.

Burtynski is a very interesting and inspiring artist that has captured many images of place people have never seen before. He goes above and beyond the normal thought of pictures and captures scenes that many of us would take for granite. I love the picture of the landfill with all the tires. It demonstrates the consumerism and mass production of America and the reality and impact it has on the environment.

Katherine Westerhout

Katherine Westerhout has some the greatest and best photography of places/setting out of all the artists I have seen yet. Her shire passion for lighting and capturing contrast and colors is very inspirational and makes me want to learn more about film photography and secrets that can be unfolded when used correctly and mastered.
