John G Moore

John Moore's book Spirit was one of my personal favorites out of the hand full of books that I looked through on Blurb.com. It has more of a personal connection with the fact that I was in Boy Scouts since I was in 5 until I was 18 and camping and hiking was something very important in my life and something that I did on a regular base and being out in the outdoors and nature.
The book covered 211 mile on the John Muir Trail the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which I have hiked personally. John was began his journey in Yosemite Valley, and making his way to one of the highest points in the US, Mt Whitney. I feel that his outdoor photography is phonemail and it is something that he enables people to see sites that some people would never be able to see. I have so many different ideas for books that I want to create and seeing more and more of these books is a great inspiration to pursue with the vision that I have.

Bernard Brault

Bernard Brault is a professional photographer from Montreal and for the past 33 years, he has covered news stories, sports, travel and portraits. In the book Vancouver 2010, Brault documents and publicly publishes his reel of what he
was able to capture at the 2010 Olympics. Many of the shoots will stand the sands of the time and it really captivates those memorable moments that happen every 4 years. I feel that this book is a great physical resume that clients and friends can purchase and share the images he was able to capture. I was reading through his bio and he was able to shoot the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer Norway for a newspaper, she has had experience with the Olympics.

Christer Hansson

was browsing through the Blurb website more and I came across this title Pictures of the Year. It was by the author, Christer Hansson, winner of the prestigious title "Photographer of the Year 2009" in the biggest photo magazine in Scandinavia, and looking through his book and photography, it brought a different dynamic of the whole art of making books. Many of the spreads that he has are a picture on a plain white background and very little text.
His book and concentration was centered on his photography and what was being shot. I feel that I have a very similar style in that the photos that are being printed have an over baring importance in my book and I want to the viewer to see and experience my photos with a clear mind and very little direction. Also in this book Hansson has many different subjected separated in the different chapters. His dedication to his photos and the different subjects and locations in very inspirational and encourages me to pursue my goal in life working in the photography and videography business and traveling the world, seeing and exploring new places.

Cream "The Innovation Exchange"

No Apples: 100 Other Top Innovators is a book by Cream, and it explains and celebrates the most innovated companies in the past year and their creations they have shared with the world.

It is very interesting for my major is Art and technology and this is a combination of both.

It has the top companies in the world illustrating their new work through varies forms of art and the growing and innovated technology that continues to grow and progress as the year moves on.

It is a great book and when I get the funds, I think I might purchase this book, for technology is one of my greatest passions and I feel as though

it is what is going to keep this world growing and moving further and it is just makes life interesting.

Pamela Pfiffner

So I decided to choose some artists off of Blurb.com and Pamela Pfiffner's book, Page by Page, Ten Years of Designing with Adobe InDesignI found was very appropriate to check out and see what kind of things some of the veterans had to say about the program and tips on what to do to improve my book. Each chapter and the content was very helpful and useful for the process it takes to make that perfect book that you are looking for and many different types of design layouts and the direction that the designer can take. I have found that it parallels many of the things that we are learning on Lynda.com with a little more content in a inspirational way and drive and not the technical aspect of things. I feel that making a book about designing and creating a book on blurb is awesome and that this is perfect for the people that make their first book with booksmart and are ready to make that transition in using indesign and making their layouts and designs from scratch.
